Sen. Ned Nwoko’s Endorsement Crisis
This Early Endorsement of Elected Political Officeholders at all Levels Might Tear the Party APC Apart If………
A stitch in time they say save nine. From my observation, it is obvious that the old APC and the new APC are yet to be on the same page in running party affairs in Delta State . They are still doing things in their separate way which is the reason behind the so called Delta North Stakeholders meeting held recently where the careless, reckless and unacceptable endorsement of Sen. Ned Nwoko by few factional APC Chairmen was carried out.
As for me, this shenanigan called endorsement of president Tinubu, Gov Sheriff and other elected political officeholders is coming too early and might destroy the party, APC if nothing is done to put a stop to it even though elections are not won by sycophantic endorsement.
Few days ago, the microphone was tested in the North East geo political zone over endorsing president Tinubu for 2027 and leaving the Vice president Kassim shettima.
Again, two days ago, Delta North Stakeholders meeting of the old APC in Delta State was held in the incumbent Senator Ned Nwoko Sports University main hall in Idumuje Ugboko and the local Government party Chairmen in Delta North who were in attendance also went ahead to endorsed Ned for 2027 even when is not the turn of his federal Constituency to produce the next Senator. The next Senator to represent Delta North in 2027 must come from Ika federal constituency. It is not negotiable.
Just imagine how people are causing confusion in the party with eye and lip service endorsement here and there. Anyway endorsement is not a certificate to winning election.
Moreover, why on earth will a right thinking Delta Northerner be dreaming of re-electing Sen. Ned Nwoko for the second time in 2027? It is glaring and clear as crystal that Ned failed woefully as a Senator. He(Ned) just celebrated and marked his two years in office as a Senator of the 10th Senate without anything to show or point to as an achievement either as projects or in the area of human capital development. No single thing attracted to Delta North. Even the Anioma State creation he claimed to be championing have been on the floor of the Senate for decades ago, he never started it neither is he the one to have it done or achieved.
Besides, Ned’s abysmal failure as a Senator, he needs no prophet to tell him and those sycophants endorsing him that it is not the turn of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency to produce the next Senator of Delta North again.
For those who have ear to hear , i have said at different fora time without number that it is the turn of Ika Federal constituency to produce the next Senator in 2027 and i stand by it. Who the person will be only God’s knows but i the know who the people of Delta North are yearning for , young, vibrant and a man with a good heart not old faces as usual.
Personally, I expect people to respect and sustained this gentlemen zoning arrangements.
Let me say this for those who might claimed ignorant or not well informed, Delta North is made up of three(3) Federal Constituencies namely, Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency and Ika Federal Constituency, making nine(9) local Government Area in Delta North.
Furthermore, it will be nice to give a detailed overview or analysis which will be a recap of my earlier submission on why Ika Federal Constituency must be given a chance come 2027. If I am correct, taking exception from the time of Sen. Francis Nwajei, Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency have enjoyed uninterrupted twelve(12) years in the Senate, same thing applicable to Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency. As i said earlier, I will start my counting from the time of Sen. Francis Nwajei who happened to be from Aniocha/Oshimili axis but me just start from the time of late Sen. Patrick Osakwe who is from Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency spent twelve(12) of three(3) tenure in the Senate then handed over to Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa in 2011. Okowa from Ika Federal constituency spent four(4) years of one(1) tenure then handed over to Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi from Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency spent eight (8) years of two(2) tenure then over handed over to the incumbent sen. Ned Nwoko who is also from Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, bring it to a total of twelve(12) years in the Senate just as Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency did outside the tenure of sen. Francis Nwajei. They including Ned are all aware of this.
Haven said this, my dears brothers and sisters of Delta North, with my simple clarification above, i believed i have been able to convince and not to confuse you on why it is the turn of Ika Federal Constituency in 2027.
As i stated earlier, the good people of Delta North are yearning for a young, vibrant person with a good track records and street credibility to send in 2027.
He must be a fresh person and not old cargos as usual.
